Neolithic Discoidal Knife

Flint Knapped Prehistoric discoidal tool made by me, a traditional prehistoric technique flint knapper.

Neolithic industries demanded high workmanship of animal products and skins, discoidal flint tools were used to process hides without puncturing the surface. This would include the preparation of skins for clothes and composite items. Thin discoidal tools would be for everyday personal use in the Neolithic through the Bronze age and required advanced craftsmanship to produce.

Each is unique and can be customised at request, made from locally sourced Flint in the UK.

- I can include photographs from raw nodule to finished flints and supply stands and certificates, even a little video of the making if you’d like.

Ready in Less than 5 Working days, or sooner if I have one in stock!
