Neolithic Sickle Blade

Flint Knapped Prehistoric Neolithic Sickle made by me, a traditional prehistoric technique flint knapper.

Follow in the footsteps of your ancestors and experience the remarkable technology of prehistoric peoples. With the rise of agriculture around 6000 years ago, people needed a way of easily harvesting crops and so the sickle was created to cut handfuls of crop stalks at a time. The curved edge is the working side, and many examples were hafted.

Each is unique and can be customised at request, made from locally sourced Flint in the UK.

- I can include photographs from raw nodule to finished flints and supply stands and certificates, even a little video of the making if you’d like.

Stone tools are very stong if used correctly, please be careful with them I will not accept returns for broken stones or handles.

Ready in Less than 5 Working days.
